Thomas regularly assists Notzon Law Firm with its litigation files and has become a valued member of our team. Since becoming licensed in 2019 he has focused his practice on litigation and arbitration. He has received a number of accolades in his time practicing, being named a “Best S.A. Lawyer Under 5 Years” in 2020 by Scene in SA Magazine, a “Rising Star” in 2021, 2022, and 2023 by Scene in SA, and a “Ones to Watch” by the Best Lawyers in America magazine in 2023. Thomas’ experience has allowed him to become adept in final arbitration hearings, jury/bench trial preparation, and bankruptcy proceedings. He has handled personal injury suits, breach of contract and commercial lawsuits, consumer law claims, and real estate disputes.

Thomas started his career at a reputable south Texas law firm where he gained years of legal experience practicing litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. During his years of firm practice, Thomas’ skills were broadened beyond the courtroom as he also garnered valuable experience in commercial and real estate transactions. While many of the cases he handled as a trial attorney consisted of breach of contract and consumer law disputes, particularly those involving multi-party construction and design defect claims, he is adept in bankruptcy proceedings, contract negotiations, real estate matters, insurance and personal injury claims, and commercial law.

Thomas is an active member of his local community, serving on the board of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation and the Coastal Conservation Association – San Antonio Chapter. He is also a member of the Texas Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, the San Antonio Young Lawyer’s Association, the Construction Law Section of the state bar, the Texas Biomedical Research Institute Founder’s Council, and the American Subcontractor’s Association.

In his free time, Thomas enjoys fishing the Texas and Florida coasts, playing golf and tennis, and writing.
